Expensive Kitchens?

Do any of you spend a lot of money on your kitchens?

If so, what do you buy? What do you do to make your kitchen better?

Our last house was a complete gut job. We spent more on the kitchen than almost everything else in the house. The main expenses were the cabinets (custom, real wood), tile work and ovens. It paid off when we sold the house for sure.

Yeah, cabinets can get pretty pricey, but they look so good after they're done!
