    Restaurants vs. cooking at home

A friend of ours from Texas is visiting us in Seattle this week and tonight she wants to go to a ramen restaurant. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE good ramen, especially at this particular spot. But do you feel as ridiculous as I do having to pay $18 for a bowl of noodles it'd cost $2 to make?

I like eating in restaurants. However I avoid eating out too much. I dislike cooking at eating at home because I have to do a lot of chroes

I like grilling more than I like cooking. I bought a nice Blackstone Grill and love to make smash burgers with it. I want to try stir fry on it some day.

I prefer eating home cooked food over restaurant meals. If it's possible for me to avoid eating restaurant food for the rest of my life, I wouldn't waste time doing it.

I don't think I could quit eating out altogether. But like I said, I like mom-and-pop places that are unique and locally owned. I stay away from Fast Food as much as I can.
