Tariffs on International Movies?

President Trump wants to put high tariffs on movies made outside of the US.

What's your opinions on this?

Well, the best scenery for many movies is outside the US. For instance, Star Wars was filmed in North Africa, and Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand.

We have some of the best National Parks in America. Are you telling me, they wouldn't be able to film something awesome at these places and employ more Americans while doing it? That's not just acting folks - that's production crews, security, vendors, cleaning crews, that's a lot of moving parts.

I don't really see it as something urgent. It's not like auto jobs taken out of Detroit or something.

I don't know. More jobs for Americans sound pretty good especially as all these remote worker jobs start to decline. Plus, all the DEI positions being cut means people will need to have work to go to.
