    City CCTVs

How do you feel about cities and communities that put up CCTV or security cameras around public spaces such as parks, streets, and business districts?

Some feel that it adds security and crime prevention while others feel that it is intrusive and violates their right of privacy.

I'm curious what you all think about this?

As long as it's in the open places like parks, side walks and and business districts, I'm 100% in support of it. Those against it haven't had a case in which it was those cameras that helped get a lead on solving it would understand how important putting up those CCTV are.

I'm all for mitigating crime in public places. CCTV can often do that. If I owned a business, I'd have cameras on every angle of it.
