How do you feel about spanking as a punishment for children?

Do you think schools should be able to do it? How about parents?

How about for adults in a judicial situation? Like caning in some Asian and Middle Easten countries?

My mother flogged the living daylights out of me when I was still a kid and teenager growing. I didn't grow up with my father around, it was all my mother.

It got to a point when I asked her if she was truly my mother because of how she beats me up.

I wouldn't accept spanking of kids in school. They can be flogged mildly, but not in an abusive manner.

I was spanked regularly at home and in school when I was a kid. It didn't hurt me.

But could I do it if I had kids? Probably not. I was in my stepdaughters life from when she was 12 to present. She's 19 now. My wife never spanked her and I probably would have talked her out of doing it if she had to LOL. She was a good kid though and never needed it. She still is a good kid or little adult. She's still a kid to me.

I was spanked regularly at home but it never helped me, it only made me resentful toward my parents. At school, teachers couldn’t use corporal punishment, and the discipline they used was far more effective.

When it came to my own son, I never resorted to spanking. He’s a lot like me in personality, and I knew it wouldn’t help. Instead, taking away electronics always worked like a charm.

That's what you have to do these days.

Buy them electronics because if they don't learn how to use and master them early, you set them up to fail in life...

But use it as a way to spank them without hitting them LOL. If you don't do this, I will disable your phone.
