Who here owns guns? Or what are your thoughts on it?

I carry a conceal where I go (yes, I am licensed). I have a 9mm S&W SDVE-9. It's a Nice medium handgun. And now since I'm getting into Gun Smithing I am going to not buy, but build my own AR-15 rifle. My only complaint about my conceal pistol is that you require to have the mag in the gun in order to pull the slider off to clean or maintain the gun. Meaning you have to have an empty mag for that very purpose which is annoying. Also no safety, what the heck is that about!?

I own several handguns and rifles.

When I CCW, I typically take either a 9mm or a 40 compact. My home defense is a 308 rifle and a 45 with shredder rounds.

I believe in gun rights and think all states should be constitutional carry without limitations. I believe ARs and suppressors shouldn't be banned anywhere.

Guns don't kill people; people make the decision to kill people. They do it with knives and cars in countries where guns are outlawed.

I agree that more states should be more constitutional or even open carry. However it seems way too many people are uneducated (very unfortunate) of the safety of firearms. I have a close friend who is prior military and he has an entire arsenal so to speak. Then I have another friend who's never owned a gun and I been encouraging him to go to the Sheriffs and apply for his CCW so he can get that first before buying a gun so that its faster during the background check.
