New Member Welcome Package (Read for Goodies!)

First of all, welcome to Off Topic Forum, your forum about anything, everything, and whatever in between.
This forum uses vBulletin 6 and it's different for folks not used to it. So, I wanted to give you some tips on how to do a few things so that you can make the most of your account and experience on this forum.
Add a Signature
I welcome you to add a signature.
You can put images on your signature (not too big or flashy, please) and even links to your blog, forums, or other similar sites. Please do not include commercial content. Definitely do not spam!
To add a signature:
Adding your signature can be a chore, but the instructions above should simplify it.
Ignore a Member
If a member starts to annoy you and you cannot get along with them, please use the IGNORE feature before lashing out and causing a staff member to have to moderate things.
The IGNORE feature is on the same page as the "Edit Post Signature" link discussed above.
The IGNORE feature is at the bottom of the page.
Type in the username of the member you are having issues with and press enter.
Save your changes.
You can hit the x to remove a member from the ignore list. Just make sure you save your changes.
You cannot ignore staff members - so that you know.
Change the Forum Theme
You can also change the forum theme on the page with the IGNORE feature.
Look for "Forum Style" and select the style you want. Save the page and then see what it looks like.
Keep doing that until you find the one you like best.
Changing the theme only applies to you. It doesn't change the theme for anyone else.
You can also change the theme by using the dropdown menu at the bottom left on any page on the forum.
Change your Forum Avatar
You can upload or change your forum avatar (the picture of yourself in all the posts) by clicking on your name at the top right of any page.
Then click on the Avatar to change it.
Put whatever you want here as long as it's appropriate for everyone.

- Go to User Settings
- Then go to Account on that same page
- Scroll down to "Conversation Detail Options"
- Click "Edit Post Signature"
- Create your signature, press save
- Make sure "Show Signatures" is ticked above that link
