Should social media platforms be regulated by governments?
I’m strongly against government interference when it comes to adults using any social media platform they choose. It’s a slippery slope, and I don’t think it’s a direction we want to go in.
However, when it comes to children, I believe no one under 18 should be allowed on social media. It’s been repeatedly shown to harm their self-esteem.
I honestly don't know because if unfortunately they did, social networks would stop being as free as they are today, if it were just the terribly bad thing that we all know, it would be fine but we all know that they wouldn't regulate just that and it would be invading privacy. of each of the people
This is like clamping down on freedom of speech. So, it's going to be a big NO for me. The government shouldn't in any way whether directly or indirectly try to control what goes on social media.
