    Bluesky

Have you ever used the social media website called Bluesky before? I believe they used to be by invite only, and I remember it took me months to get a invite sent to my email. Bluesky is similar to Twitter, but it's better in my opinion. To be honest with you though I barely get on my Bluesky account. The only social media website I tend to browse daily is Facebook since my friends and family are on it. I might start to promote my websites on my Bluesky though.

    I haven't used it yet.

It's those web3 social media networks that I've not really played with yet.

I use Bluesky almost daily now. It’s a lot easier to get traction on your posts on there than Twitter. You can also setup your own feeds and see content based on what interests you.

I've heard about the app and how it's becoming popular with so much Twitter/X users going over to it. I might get the app soon.

I'm using it now. I joined with my "Hiking with Shawn" brand. So far, I like Bluesky a lot. It's like a classic Twitter before it got too featured and became X.

I have joined Bluesky a few weeks ago. I'm enjoying it so much. I think it's better than X now. It's too toxic on X.

It is pretty nice but it's been difficult to weed out the political stuff. X is full of the far right and Bsky is full of the far left. I just want normal people LOL.

I know that's exactly what's going to happen with so many people who left X having to end up on Bluesky.

I haven't joined it yet. It's my friend Cpvr
that introduced and brought my attention to it.

I think X will still retain it's supporters. Most of them pay for their account, too. That will probably become a requirement in time. Unless you pay, you can't be on X.

Since making this topic, I actually logged back into my account and have been using it pretty much daily now. I mainly lurk though, I made a few posts.

I was on Minds for a while when it came out. Had a discussion or two, but it was pretty much a ghost town.

I'll post about once a day if I remember to. This topic made me remember LOL

I've heard so much about how it's getting so many people leaving Twitter/X to join Bluesky but I haven't made any attempt yet to download the app. I don't want to have the same experience I did with Threads.

I'm growing on Bluesky with my hiking niche but not my freelance/blog/forum niche. X still dominates that area.

It's going to be very very difficult to get rid of X. It's just like Facebook today, they have been so well rooted in some areas that it's impossible to break them.
