Can you fix your own computer?

How are you with fixing software problems? How about hardware problems and replacement?

It depends on what problem the computer developed. If it's what I can fix, I will do it and vice versa what I can't.

Although, fixing software issues is more easier for me than hardware issues.

I can do some hardware fixes. I can even solder if I need to but I'd rather do software fixes than hardware, personally.

Hardware fixes can be messy. It's why I don't like doing it. Software fixing is a smooth and easy work. If you know what you're doing, it won't stress you to sort things out quickly.

I'm thinking about taking my old computer apart and replacing parts just to learn more about fixing it myself.

It's cheaper if you do it yourself.
