How often do you get a new computer/laptop?

I usually get a new one every 8-10 years.

I'll try to make my computers and laptops last.

I also usually buy higher end ones, so they do last longer than usual.

As long as the one which I'm currently using is in a perfect working condition, I wouldn't bother with having to upgrade it. But usually, it's within after 10 years that I start thinking about upgrading.

If I want to build a new PC on my own, how much should I be looking at?

When my computer's memory gets low, and I can't clear much to free up space, that's when I replace it.

I usually get one for a few thousand dollars in order to have one I can edit video on.
