That's one of our worst fears. We avoid most hotels because of it.
I don't understand how hotels allow their beds to be infested with such. My parents picked up some of them the last time they used a hotel but thank God my mother saw it before they got home. They practically undressed out and kept the clothes outside, boiled hot water and sock it with one chemical, washed and sun dry them before getting the clothes into the house again.

It can be very expensive to treat for them. I'd imagine a lot of hotels don't because of that, especially ones that don't charge a lot to rent.

It's truly very expensive to treat and those bugs doesn't go easily. It's what makes it so difficult to handle. I don't blame those who choose to sleep in their car than use cheap hotels/motels.
