I am a Muslim by faith and I fast in the month of Ramadan. Sometimes I also fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, as Ashura is the day of martyrdom of our Holy Imam Hussein (Alaihisalam❤️🌷🌹🥀🎁💗💕♥️🌺💙💜💝💖❣️💚💗🎁). Fasting has many health benefits and many doctors recommend people to fast.
Yes I usually fast a lot, besides fasting based on my religious beliefs I also fast for health reasons. Our body usually needs time to break down what we eat, fasting gives the body time to break down the food we eat. Fasting can also be used to detox the body.
