I diet. When I have eaten heavy meal the previous day, I will eat very light. Sometimes I have no meat day, and sometimes I have raw food day. Sometimes I have no carb day.

In many cases dieting does not work. There are a few studies that have suggested that dieting could lead to weight gain because in the end you end up being more hungry. I have tried dieting in the past and I have failed. I ended up losing weight due to other health conditions.

For now I am simply doing intermittent fasting, I find it to be a lot more effective. Then as for what I eat, I have limited my in take or refined sugar. The longest intermittent fasting I have done is 70 hours without food.

70 hours? Was it painful at all?

I cannot imagine to go for 70 hours without food. Max I have done is 26 hours. I think 24 hours can be good if you drink a lot of water, and even fruit juice if it is hard on you

I'll have to go about 48 hours I do believe before I get a colonoscopy. They want me to get one now at 40 instead of 50 because I'm high risk due to my family. history.

I just prefer to balance things out instead of placing myself on a strict dieting. If I eat heavy one day, I go lighter the next. That keeps it simple.

I've been trying to slow lighten my eating down each day. Heavy to light and then staying light. One thing I've been doing is flavor profiling. I'll stay away from stuff that has a really good flavor and do more bland flavor eating. It's easy to feel full and not overeat when there isn't a good flavor present. Sounds boring? But works...
